Yoga with Jung Kim! - 8:00am


 Start off the first day of FearlessCon with some yoga hosted by the wonderful Jung Kim (@yogajungphl). This is optional, but a great way to get ready for a full day o' learning! It’s BYOM - so try to bring your own mat!

Join us from 9am - 10am for registration at SEER Interactive in Northern Liberties! Look for the door on the side of Wahlburgers and head on up to the 7th floor for your FearlessCon badge, goody bag and some yummy breakfast to start your day!

Don't worry, we'll make it short and sweet. FearlessCon Founder, Melissa Alam, will take the stage to talk about the game plan for the conference and what to expect from the weekend!

"Stop Asking for Permission: How to Build Unwavering Confidence in Your Vision and Work"

To become successful at anything, we have to do the things that absolutely terrify us. Easier said than done right? The most powerful thing you can do to 10x your confidence in your outputs is to change the narratives and story around your abilities and work, and this workshop will show you how to do just that.

Participants will get insight and actionable narrative exercises to learn: 

  • How to shift your own inner fear/imposter narratives to have unquestioning confidence when pitching yourself and your work to potential clients, funders, partners and more

  • How to persuade with your messages in an authentic and impactful way

  • How to craft messages + stories that will resonate with your audience and successfully spread the word about your vision

This workshop will help you gain some insight into who you are as a partner, and why you attract certain personality types. You'll learn some valuable tools to help you choose the right partner, and how to break some old patterns!

"How to Build Your Own Legally Legit Biz"

Sam Vander Wielen, attorney-turned-entrepreneur, will lead this interactive workshop to teach you the basics you need to know about the US legal system so you feel confident and empowered to enter into contracts, go after projects, and advertise your services/products. We'll cover what you need to know about using legally legit contracts, how to protect your content, what to do if you don't get paid, and whether you really need that trademark. If you've avoided tackling legal in your business because it's boring, expensive, or just flat out intimidating, Sam's workshop is definitely the one for you!
